Congratulations to Curt C. of Lemont for being voted on as the Best in Show for the 2022 Lemont Legends Cruise Nights season.  Curt’s 1972 Yellow International Scout II was Week 1’s first Star of the Show, during the “Calling All Cars” week.

Curt takes home the Duane Petersen Trophy as Best in Show.  He will also be added to the winner’s plaque housed at Petersen’s Main Inn in Lemont Downtown.

The Scout was produced by International Harvester as a competitor to Jeep.  They were produced during the 70’s with the last one being produced in 1980.  The Scout trademark is currently owned by Volkswagen, who plans to release electric pick-ups and SUVs under the Scout name – with the first prototype expected next year.
