Chicagoland’s Winter Bike Race, The Forge Fat Tire Bike Race, is back for its second season. Competitors will have the choice of two race distances, an approximated 10-mile course and a 5-mile course. Both events take place on January 14, 2023.
Registration for the event is $35 per person until December 31, 2022 and $40 per person from January 1 until January 14 (Race Day), 2023. The registration fee includes:
- entry to the race
- meticulously maintained trails unique to The Forge
- electronically timed results
- earned awards (see “Awards” section below)
- a cool Forge Winter hat
- swag
- post-race party with food, beer from Pollyanna Brewing, and other beverages
