The mission of this group is to improve the overall mental health of the
community.
The goal of this program is to expand awareness regarding recovery options while creating a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings
regarding substance misuse/recovery.
This group is designed to honor where everyone in their journey and respect one’s needs/values/beliefs while acknowledging underlying trauma, shame, and disconnection that often correlates with substance misuse.
This group will hold space for those that wish to discuss where they are at in their
recovery process and for those that experienced suffering while in recovery groups or who experienced institutional harm/shame-based practices while seeking help and who need support in a way that encourages safety, awareness, connection, and choice.
This group will provide psycho-education on various recovery options (including, but not limited to, discussing the various levels of treatment, 12 step,
recovery dharma, life ring, smart recovery, Harm Reduction practices, and holistic alternatives.)
