Although Dow Insurance Service, Inc. was newly formed in December of 2018, nothing about our Agency is New! The Dows have been selling insurance in Joliet & the surrounding areas since 1945. Most recently Bob, Diane & Chris were with Northern Insurance Service, LTD in Joliet. With the untimely passing of Jeff Thompson, the Dows left Northern Insurance Service, LTD to begin a new Chapter in Lemont, IL. Jeff Thompson’s kind and generous spirit will always be a part of the foundation of Dow Insurance.
The Dow Insurance Service family has been growing since day one with the purchase of Golden Security Insurance on 12/23/2018. In addition to the purchase of Golden Security Insurance, Dow Insurance is also proud to announce the merger with Baldwin & Company, Inc. of Joliet in July of 2019. Jeff Barnes, Principal at Baldwin & Co, is a lifelong resident of Joliet and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in all lines of insurance. Dow Insurance & Baldwin & Co have been a part of the Joliet Insurance landscape since 1945 & 1967 respectively and look forward to continuing the legacy under one roof in our Joliet office at 3303 W.
