Homer Glen’s American Legion is named after PDF Michael C. Oliverieri, a Homer Glen man, who was one of five killed in June 2011 in Baghdad during an attack on his base.
The Post is hosted at Marian Village in Homer Glen. They meet on every third Monday of the month at 7pm.
The American Legion’s mission statement, as adopted by the National Executive Committee in October 2020, is:
